Got a question about Slope?
IKEA has partnered with Slope to provide short-term financing to their business customers at checkout. Slope is a financial technology company, not a bank. Business-purpose loans made by Lead Bank and subject to credit approval.
After creating your Slope account, you’ll need to complete the quick and easy financing application, which should take just a few minutes. We recommend having an owner or control person with access to your business bank account apply. For the application, you’ll need:
- Social Security number of at least one beneficial owner
- Authorization for a soft credit check from a beneficial owner or control person
- Business bank account connection through Plaid”
Businesses should meet the following minimum eligibility requirements before applying:
- Minimum 1 year in business & banking history with their current institution(s)
- $85K+ annual revenue
- For businesses with less than $5M in annual revenue, a personal guarantee from a business owner or control person is required
It’s also helpful if the business owners/control persons have a FICO of 625. Applicants should not have any bankruptcies in the last 5 years. Since every business is unique, there is no guarantee that all applicants meeting these criteria will be eligible for Slope.

Slope does not charge IKEA customers fees on their financed orders. However, if a customer is unable to pay back on time, there may be applicable late fees.
Slope accepts ACH as a repayment method for IKEA orders. Your selected account will be automatically debited on the due date. If you would like to make a payment before your payment due date, you can do so within your Buyer portal.
